TIFF 2016: To Find Great Business Opportunities

The Toronto International Film Festival is a major draw for great films and a hub for buyers and sellers from around the world.

TIFF is a charitable cultural organization whose mission is to transform the way people see the world, through film. An international leader in film culture, TIFF projects include the annual Toronto International Film Festival in September; TIFF Bell Lightbox, which features five cinemas, major exhibitions, and learning and entertainment facilities; and innovative national distribution program Film Circuit. The organization generates an annual economic impact of $189 million CAD.

Each year, TIFF ensures that industry professionals are provided with the opportunities, tools, and information they need to successfully network and further their business and creative goals. In 2015, over 5,450 professionals, 3,200 companies, and a record 2,100 buyers joined TIFF to do business, make connections, and advance their marketplace know-how, all while discovering great films and projects.

The Festival’s seven-day Industry Conference offers an incomparable professional development opportunity. TIFF2016 focus on daily horizontal themes covering the creative process, financing and coproduction, marketing, distribution, and the future of content.
